Ultima Frontiera is a reserve of 1000 hectares on the far border of Europe, in the Danube Delta.
Here, in a lodge at your complete disposal, you can spend a week totally immersed in nature, dedicating yourself to birdwatching or photography thanks to about twenty hides, various excursions (by off-road cars and by boat) and with comfortable electric cars for your free use for fully enjoy this naturalistic paradise in one of the wildest places of Europe.

Jackals are the absolute protagonists of this environment, from our last generation Hides you can photograph several individuals, in all their activities, even extremely close to you! The Hide, active from several years, allow almost total security in being able to photograph this species.

A coupel of White-tailed Eagles live in our reserve, and besides being easy to meet in the reserve they assiduously frequent one of our latest generation Hide buried in a dune of the delta. Approaching even at a few meters from your cameras, they will allow you splendid photos on pearches or in fly.

The Roller nests in large numbers in the reserve. To obtain the best photo of it, several Hides are dedicated to this splendid animal, allowing photos in different light and behavior situations. From Tower Hides and Underground Hides you can photograph this and other species at best.

DESCRIPTION
One of the favorite experiences of photographers, during the week at Ultima Frontiera, are the boat trips to the inner lakes of the delta and the lagoon of the Black Sea. Managed with special boats, exploring through the rich vegetation of the delta and the vast water lakes we will try to get closer to fascinating species such as pelicans and grabes.

The entire island where Ultima Frontiera is located is a place set in a time of wild beauty. For this reason we offer an off-road excursion, developed as a photographic safari, in which we will visit both the typical villages, and we will look for some characteristic species of the area such as the Wild Horses of Letea, in the vast steppe landscapes of the island.
