The Reserve ‘Swamp of San Genuario’ offers the chance to photograph species such as Common Kingfisher, Bittern, Little Bittern, Purple Heron, Little Crake, Water Rail, Great Reed Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Little Egret, Night Heron and more. The Marsh Harrier often decides to nest close to the hides. This is also a hotspot for dragonflies and damselflies, with over 30 species in the checklist. Entomologists can appreciate many different species, among which Lycaena dispar, Zerynthia polixena, Saga pedo.

DESCRIPTION
The entire reserve is a conversion of the anthropic fish farming activity. This hide is among the most innovative conversion systems. The hide, located next to old cement tanks renaturalized to allow the kingfisher to fish and rest, is perfect for photograph this animal.

CHANNEL
DESCRIPTION
At the edge of the large reedbeds of the reserve stands this hide which overlooks a deep channel. Many species use these reeds to nest and live, often moving in flight along the channel, permitting excellent shots without disturb the animals.

In a small reed bed, is inserted our Hide, who overlook a small pool of free water so as to immerge the photographer among the high reeds, allowing photos on a small body of water where many species of passerines and rail live.
